Flat Classrooms Learnin' around the world

The world can be flat. Huh??!! If you are interested in teaching about global awareness, global citizenship and enjoy using technology - check out the flat classroom concept.  There are so many projects available on-line to get students to act locally - but think globally. We can take technology and use it to reach out and learn about other cultures and issues around the world.

To get you inspired, check out these photos of classrooms around the world. Imagine connecting with these rooms...

The following site below was created by one of the founders of the "Flat Classroom Concept" and she is one Cool Cat teacher (actually that's her Twitter name). She explains it all on this site, as well as some innovative projects that teachers can get involved in with their classrooms.
